The Bernhardt Family was sooo much fun and TROOPERS. For real…they were the real MVP’s this year because it was outright NASTY outside. It was so cold, it was offensive. My fingers nearly froze off. And they were wearing very thin layers of clothing. God bless them.
We played it by ear all day. Wondering if the rain was going to ruin our plans for the shoot. We moved it up an hour and thank goodness…because it started to rain as soon as I got a mile down the road.
It all paid off in the end…afterall, if we can’t have golden hour, us photographers pray for the clouds to be that perfect light diffuser. The rain clouds on the horizon looked ominous and made the photos look that much cooler. I love me a good skyline.
Anywho, these crazy kids made me laugh the whole time. But were so sweet and adored their parents. I love catching those sweet moments that are sometimes far and few between with our crazy, busy kiddos.
