Melissa and her family are one of those families that don’t really exist. You know…like they are all gorgeous…dressed and match perfectly, brothers and sister that didn’t fight all day long. Just an adorable big, loving family.
We had a few worries that this session would get rained out. It was RAINING SIDEWAYS a few hours earlier. It wasn’t looking good. But suddenly, the rain stopped and the sun came out, shining like it was trying to prove to us that you cannot predict the weather…don’t even try.
If we would have rescheduled earlier in the week, we clearly would have been sorely upset because…LOOK AT HOW GLORIOUS IT WAS!
Melissa asked if we could include her daughter’s boyfriend! I said, “of course!”. I had so much fun prompting them with those lovey-dovey poses. I always try to get a few of the parents loving on one another, also, because they do so much for their kids…they deserve a few good shots of them actually taking the time to look each other in the eyes and have a few moments appreciating each other.
It was such a nice shoot…although I do love those toddlers and babies, it’s always refreshing to have a group of older kids that listen to direction so well. And its cool to have a conversation with these cool, young adults. Great Job, Melissa and Dad (I’m sorry…I forgot your name already…lol I am terrible with names and I am working it, people!) You have a great group of human beings!
