I am SOOO sorry that I have been such a slacker with my blog posts. Let me just update you with what I have been up to with Poppies & Poseys Photography!
I have been doing a bunch of Christmas sessions! So much fun and each session brings me closer and closer to cutting that check for Adam and Roots for Boots! It makes me so happy and excited to be part of such an amazing organization!
I also took photos to capture little Miss Oaklynn’s 2nd Birthday! I love chasing around the little cuties…and spirit of course had to make her appearance! LOL BUT WOULD YOU JUST LOOK AT THOSE BLUE EYES?!
We also celebrated my kiddos 4th birthday! If anyone knows me…I love a good birthday theme. My kid adores the movie “Nightmare Before Christmas” and wanted to repeat the same birthday he had last year, so we had another “Jack the Pumpkin King” birthday party. After all, he was born after Halloween and Before Christmas and he can be a handful so this theme is just too perfect for him.
After he blew out his candles, he said, “This is the my birthday ever.” All the stress, drama, planning…none of that mattered. My kid was a super happy 4 year old and that fills my heart with joy.
I had a few studio sessions and set my couch up outside for some impromptu mini sessions! Thank you so much for the families that came out on this particularly chilly day.
My daughter had her first swim meet of the season and did fantastic! All the shuffling back and forth to swim practice is paying off and she loves it.
I also joined forces with other photographers in our area to do a styled wedding shoot and had so much fun! I have posted a few photos but I plan to give this its own dedicated blog entry because…IT WAS GLORIOUS! What my photog heart yearns for and set my soul ablaze for weddings!
